Landmark Poster: Nuremberg Chronicle
History of Graphic Design: Doug Scott, Elisa Maezono
Spring 2013
This assignment called for a 17x34 poster that reflects elements of an assigned landmark from graphic design history, modern graphic design, and students' personal aesthetics. The Nuremberg Chronicle is considered to be the first successful incorporation of illustration and printed text. My biggest challenge was to create a poster that did not look antiquated or gaudy but still had the essence of a monumental book created half a millennium ago.
