Based on Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities book. For an experimental project, I chose Despina, a city that appears differently from the point of view of its travelers. I created a 2-sided book that explores two drastically differing journeys through the city. To incorporate the mirroring quality of the city, I used a simple foiling technique in each of the pages.
