This is a 15x20 poster, letterpressed by The Aesthetic Union as a part of their February 2015 show. The theme was "inspired by a marathon of B-movies, grindhouse films, tales of wayward youth, reading about stories sex-crazed biker gangs, beatnik fashion, and getting lost out in the West." Thus, I took catchy call-outs on old film and novel covers to cull together my pool of phrases that I chose to letter in a very characteristic style of the places these were found. I kept the classic black and red to feel very grindhouse and raw. Overall, a fun piece to create!
