Right on the eve of the new year, I want to show you my new little project.
I'm sure many of you have seen Christmas gingerbread houses. And some of you have even made one.
So, as person who grew up in a post-Soviet country, I wondered what my gingerbread house would look like if it matched reality. Unlike average European houses, panel houses look very depressing and sad. Anyway, the warm memories of family and childhood, are invariably associated with these houses.
Since there are so many varieties of panel houses, I selected three houses, and created three gingerbread houses from them. The first is the most standard, the most recognizable, which is absolutely in every post-Soviet country.

№2
The second is a little less standard.
I saw it in the district of Davtashen in Armenia. The architecture of the house and the panels are cross-shaped.

And the third, most unusual, is in Georgia, in the Nutsubidze Plateau area.
In addition to the semi-circular panels, the houses are connected by a bridge.
Thank you for watching!
