Raven and the First Men (A PhotoShop study & tribute to Bill Reid). Way back back in 2006, while working on an acrylic painting, a study of Bill Reid’s famous sculpture “Raven & the first Man”, I came to the conclusion that I can not work in acrylics (formerly used to nice slow-drying oil paints). I had been using digital photography & photo retouching at work for years—It was this sculpture of Bill Reid’s and the fact that Acrylic paint dries faster than I paint, that inspired me to combine my computer-aided photo-retouching skills with my love of west coast art styles.
