Fine Art: Digital Artwork for Disney
Role: Digital Artist
Disney wanted one-of-a-kind artwork to hang in a new hotel in Florida. The artwork had to be created on the computer, but not look as if it was digital. To achieve this, I created several detailed, high-resolution comps in Photoshop using special brushes and masks that give a printing-press quality to the strokes. The final giclée prints are 2.5 by 4.5 feet. Vertical brushstrokes simulate the falling motion of Alice's spiral down the rabbithole. Playing card and nature imagery add layers of background detail.
