Tale of Moon Rabbit

Final project for my undergraduate degree at university. An animation video introducing the origin of Chuseok (Korean version of Thanksgiving) originated from the 'Tale of Moon Rabbit' folklore. Chuseok is one of the major annual events in Korea culture celebrated with food and various activities. The event itself takes place during autumn (15th of August on the lunar calendar) and it is a special time for both Koreans and tourists coming to visit. This video is created to promote Korea tourism from a different point of interest—a story that is passed down through generations—in an interesting yet informative way.
HSBC - Unity in Sport

An entry for D&AD New Blood 2020 — HSBC 'Together We Thrive' brief, The campaign is meant to highlight HSBC's brand promise in the airport setting where people from all over the become the audience. I decided to highlight the concept of thriving together in sport, in particular, badminton. Inspired by HSBC's vision to make badminton that is notably more popular in Asia, into a global sport. Sport is one of HSBC's brand values, that is often linked with the power to unite: people, countries, and the world. It communicates the feeling of excitement, thrill, and hopes that are synonymous with the tone of voice in an airport.

The video is played on large displays throughout the customer’s journey from arrival to boarding, mainly along the moving walkway. The story could easily be comprehended when watched in sections, then it comes together as a whole to spark a conversation on how HSBC serves as a bridge to connect their customers to opportunities.
A Fashion Narrative

Submission for RSA Student Design Awards 2020: Moving Pictures — 'Fashioning a Circular Future' brief. The concept circled around how the fashion industry contributes to the giant waste and pollution on the planet. And therefore, as a solution, encouraging young designers to take part in the work creating a better future. The current system is broken and circular economy principles offers a solution: reduce, reuse, rewear, recycle, and relove our clothing.

The animation showcased the concept from various perspectives—East and West world—as every individual has a role and responsibility to keep the loop going.
