BLACK LIVES MATTER
This selection is dedicated to every black person I know and that I have ever met and admired - to my favorite musicians, artists, athletes, writers, revolutionaries, or just “ordinary” people who inspired me with their courage, pride, beauty and dignity; with their generosity and their ability to express joy even under the most difficult circumstances. I owe them all!

Racism is absolutely incomprehensible to me. How can one think that being born white is a merit of his/hers own, and that whiteness automatically confers superiority???

Is it really necessary to remind people who believe such nonsense that white people are responsible for the death of millions of people of all races including their own; that they committed genocides of an abhorrent scale of Native Americans, Incas and Mayas, Jews, and Africans. That they enslaved whole continents including Africa, the cradle of civilization. Every person on this planet carries traces of African blood. Black people are our ancestors,

It is time to change and embrace equality.

The threat posed by Climate Change and the destruction of natural habitats can be countered only by the union of peoples of all races and creeds. We are all one people and our black brothers and sisters, are an indispensable ingredient in that mix. We have a lot to learn from them.
The photos in this selection have already been published on Behance.
They have been shot in the Congo in 1981, in Chicago in 2017, in Los Angeles from 2015 to 2017, and at the Munich Airport in 2015.
