In 2019, I took a weekend trip to the countryside in Japan. The conditions were such that I had a very special experience. I visited Mitake-san, a revered mountain in western Tokyo Prefecture, as well as Musashi-Mitake Shrine, which has stands at the peak on a site with two thousand years of history.
