This was a self-initiated project that I created during the COVID-19 pandemic.
During this time shortly after the provincial parks opened in April 2020, I was doing a lot of running and hiking in the Rocky Mountains in my spare time. I took a lot of photos during my trips.
At the same, I was also inspired to create my own prototype for a mobile app through a bunch of Adobe livestreams that I saw document about UX and UI design. I noticed during my years of experience working in the industry that the demand for designing mobile apps and mobile-friendly websites has increased.
Since prototyping design was still fairly new to me, I decided to apply this inspiration in creating my own design prototype due to my user experiences with mobile apps like Strava, Garmin Connect, and AllTrails.
