Knackiger Kartoffel 脆皮马铃薯
As an entryway into Rhinoceros 3D, our German lecturer told us to design a gestalt object for our first assignment. Unfamiliar with the software, I simply cage-edited a circle and bent it into a hyperbolic paraboloid (see: potato chip shape). When two of these simple forms are interlocked, they are inexplicably transformed into something gestalt— a beautiful whole no longer perceived as the sum of its parts.
作為Rhinoceros 3D的入門課程，我大學的德語講師要求我們設計一個格式塔對象。因為我不太熟悉該軟件，我便把一個圓圈進行了籠形編輯，然後將其彎曲成雙曲線的拋物面形（參見：薯片形狀）。當這些簡單形式中的兩個互鎖時，它們莫名其妙地轉變為某種格式塔—一個不再被視為其各個部分之和的美麗整體。
