I applied for an HTML-based position online and a few days later, I was assigned a task to determine the outcome of my application. The task was to create a responsive webpage, based on a PDF I'd received, in a timeframe of within three to four days.

This was a very challenging task because I didn't have a project brief, a design brief (in which to determine how the webpage would look on various mobile devices), a PSD with layers nor any fonts to work with. But, I relish a challenge and a chance to get my creative juices flowing!

As I had no specific guidelines to work with, so I decided that I would create this webpage freestylie. This means that I wouldn't be following the PDF design entirely accurately. But, if it works and looks right, then it shouldn't be an issue. However, what it does show is diversity and creativity. It also gives people like me, the freedom to experiment.

I decided to hand-code the entire webpage, without the need for an HTML/CSS framework.

To make the webpage responsive to most devices, I used Google Chrome's responsive inspector and applied the CSS media queries as and when required.

The task took me only four days to complete. This may seem slow on average but with my current full-time job, I had to find the time and space to concentrate and therefore complete it.

Note: I do not own nor have the copyright to this design, I simply put it together.
