The story of how Universal Music Group become a client and partner is an interesting one. Max Gousse was an executive at UMG with a ton of experience in the music industry. He'd heard of my outfit SplashKit through Cue Recording, a client and referral source of mine. I had just helped Cue launch an audio engineering program. Cue was already the most accomplished music studio in three states. Gousse saw the potential that SplashKit offered. He could get a regular peak into the DMV music scene, influence how select acts were shaped, and could run select projects through our packaging service. It was a win-win.
