Social Media Posts for QuestMath
In House for Nymbl Digital
Context
Objectives
1. To establish a design language for the brand that is universal, simple, and comprihensable.
2. To find a way to make the content easy to understand without heavy jargon.
3. To make maths courses for children seem interesting and approachable.
Obstacles
1. QuestMath is not the only horse in town, other players in this field include Kumon, for starters.
2. QuestMath had to have a premium feel without too many things intruding the design language, minimal elements with maximum effect.
3.QuestMath had to be perceived as an intelligent brand, and of a certain eclectic taste, to distinguish itself from the swarm of it's contemporaries.
Solutions
1. Emphasis on making learning fun, and approachable.
2. Using a quadratic colour scheme, which consists of 4 contrasting colours.
3. Using a Standardised font (Roboto) for most of the copy and specialised font (The Absolute, Futura Kindergarten, etc) to emphasise different moods and tones for each creative.
Creative Direction & Process
Rough Drafts and Iterations were made and deliberated upon in-house before final decisions were made.
Thankfully, the client had agreed with the direction we had went for, and only suggested hygienic changes (font size, logo size, the standard stuff).
Each Creative had gone through it's own brainstorming process based on the copy and the message we wanted to convey with the design.
A brief, along with rough drafts, inspirations, and logical references are given below.
