Dancing Bear Lodge has drastically increased their marketing efforts in the years since Oldham Hospitality acquired the brand. They approached Pioneer Media for hosting and maintenance on the brand’s websites.

We converted the DancingBearLodge.com website from a less-known CMS to WordPress, which powers 1/3rd of the Internet. WordPress is the most popular Content Management System (CMS) in the world and is incredibly easy to manage.

The website kept a similar design as the old site (the former website’s design was impressive) but now it’s easier for the marketing team to manage on their own, plus we saved them on their website hosting & maintenance costs! The new website does offer more animations, subtle nuances, higher-resolution photography, clearer navigation, and much more.

Navigation is now a breeze thanks to clear menus, sub-pages and sitemaps. Any page on the website is at most 2 clicks away! The feedback on this improved navigation has been overwhelmingly positive. The icons in the menu also give clarity to the buttons.

DBL has a Blog that includes upcoming events, local experiences, recipes, stories, and more. Dancing Bear Lodge regularly hosts weddings, corporate events, holiday parties, company retreats, and more.

Dancing Bear’s new website is mobile-friendly thanks to the responsive design. Mobile is crucial because 2/3rd of their web traffic comes from smartphones and tablets – that’s significant! The mobile trend is impossible to miss. Websites must be easy to navigate on the smaller screens. Bonus! Google heavily vouches for and boosts the ranking for mobile-friendly sites, and Dancing Bear benefits from that.

Security is key nowadays. https://DancingBearLodge.com is secured with a powerful SSL Security Certificate. Why? Website visitors see a green SECURE / padlock icon next to the domain name. That looks much more trustworthy than a red NOT SECURE label.
