As part of a university project we were to create a packaging of some sort inspired by any previous project from an 11 days workshop. I chose to continue on the jazz theme. One of my favourite jazz musicians is Jan Johansson and I therefore decided to remake an old album cover design for "Jan Johansson spelar musik på sitt egna vis". With the design I wanted to combine traditional jazz cover trends, such as sketches/illustrations, photographs, collage (scissor & glue) and colours contrasted with black and white, with a contemporary aesthetic.
