I chose this particular effect because as a designer, I think my aesthetic tends to be a little more subtle and minimalistic, and out of all the explorations I did this one seemed to be the most illustrative of that style. The others I created looked very artistic, but did not show my personal brand as much as this one did. I love the way that especially the watercolor paints have the fun pop of color, but the muted background shows that I know to not overdo it. I chose the bottom corner for my name and tagline because it was the least busy portion of the photo, and I did not want the text to detract from the other interesting portions of the photo.
