This was a personal project depicting animals native to the USA-Mexico borderlands, most of which are endangered, all of which are threatened by the construction of the American border wall. Information about each species and their current conservation status was shared along with the art on my social media.

A portion of profits from sales of this art as prints and other merchandise has and will continue to be donated to immigrant/refugee aid and environmental conservation efforts.
I appreciate all I learned while working on this, from researching each animal to making the art itself. I hope to revisit and expand upon this subject in other ways soon.
