Sobre o livro: Após granularem as imagens diante de nossos olhos; após fibrilarem as frases, o ‘discurso do conhecimento’ que nos assola a rotina; após desbastarem-se os predicados e as identificações – como quem desbasta, nos galhos, as folhas mortas, os espinhos e até as flores, para chegar ao grão -, fica-se com esse ‘tigre nos olhos’. Fica-se com a potência dessa imagem, capaz de contaminar as nossas retinas. Resta, assim, o poema, grão da língua, aquilo que nos punge sem que precise ser explicado: e é justo a ‘sua miudeza [que] faz o/ mar infinito’. – Trecho da orelha do livro, escrita por Maraíza Labanca.

About the book: After granulating the images before our eyes; after the sentences become fibrillated, the ‘discourse of knowledge’ that plagues our routine; After chipping away at the predicates and identifications – like someone chipping away at the branches, the dead leaves, the thorns and even the flowers, to get to the grain –, we are left with this ‘tiger in our eyes’. We are left with the power of this image, capable of contaminating our retinas. Thus, what remains is the poem, the grain of the language, that which stings us without needing to be explained: and it is only ‘its smallness [that] makes the / infinite sea’. – Excerpt from the book, written by Maraíza Labanca.
