Logo design for a south Wales welding company

Initial design sketches produced a few good ideas. I particularly liked the half showed welding mask design, but the client preferred the second to last design that has a welding mask looking down at a welding spark.

This final logo is a built in a solid and thick design style to represent a robust and solid business. In further iterations I would have made the design more detailed with some subtle reflections or depts to the image, however the client did not want any changes.
