Radice Quadrata is inspired by the square root mathematical symbol. After sketching on paper a lot of ideas I realised that the square root shape was basically really looking like a lamp, its design gives this feeling. So I just started to develop the idea, thinking about materials and how to create a functional table lamp, that works with strip LEDs . And these are the final results.
