Hive Taphouse is a restaurant in Perry Hall, MD. The challenge was to develop branding that identified Hive as a local gathering place and combined the ideas of a bistro and a taphouse into one mark. The solution was a modern, clean logo that combines a plate and a bee into a pictorial mark, suggesting coming together in one common place. A wood texture was added to the brand to accentuate the earthy taphouse feel. Its corresponding website was designed and coded using HTML and CSS.
