David Schnell is a former captain in the United States Navy that currently serves as general manager of Los Angeles Express Lanes for the Americas Commercial and State Transportation Group. During his Navy service, Captain David Schnell commanded two US Navy warships, the USS Ford and the USS Peleliu.
A Tarawa-class amphibious assault ship, the USS Peleliu was formally commissioned on May 3, 1980.
