In this project I wish to show the phenomenon of how grave stories are easily and lightly consumed through images directly related to today’s desires. Unique events that in the past could not be captured in photos such as birth, sex and death have become subjects that people most enjoy recording and sharing today. These events that remained solemn because they were opaque have become stock images distributed throughout the virtual world of the internet. Due to these photos every secret vanishes and life becomes unfiltered, raw porn. People want to dig deeper and have a closer look into the private lives of others. We lightly consume the pleasures, pains and desires of others as crunching on popcorn and enjoy them as forms of entertainment.
