Bryan Specht's profile

Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center

An experienced campaign manager and communications professional, Bryan Specht has been the president of Olson Engage since 2012. Bryan Specht is also a supporter of the Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center (CCAC).

Dedicated to addressing the problem of child abuse in Chicago and increasing the well-being of children, CCAC was established in 2001. Accredited by the National Children’s Alliance, CCAC provides mental health services, a medical clinic, forensic interviews, and other resources to address the needs of abused children.

To help the community identify and respond to cases of abuse, CCAC offers a wide range of training programs. One of the programs focuses on the prevention education requirements for public schools.

With training for school personnel, parents, and caregivers, the CCAC program outlines behavioral patterns to watch for and identifies the steps that participants need to take to make the proper reports for the situation. Importantly, participants learn how to talk to students about abuse and create an environment of trust so participants will be able to communicate the needs of the students.
