PokerStars Casino is the largest poker site in the world. They asked me to create super detailed illustrations for a rebrand of the web and games worldwide. With the idea of create a city that feels alive. This was the most complex work I did, and really wanted to challenge myself. I spent time learning about architecture to design unique constructions. And I did craft every detail like tiny windows in the small cars or palm trees between infinite buildings.
Creative Process
I took photos every night after work with my phone, of places that were interesting for me. I come form a small village so tall buildings and city lights were always appealing.
I started doing a lot of research into architecture. I got inspired by work of Zaha Hadid and Norman Foster, but I did wanted to create unique buildings for the illustrations so it isn't reminiscent of a specific city. After the research and learning, I did many sketches and concepts of buildings for this digital city.
