Cookie Cutter
inspired by "Birds with Twigs and Fruits" from the Rijksstudio

The varieties of birds illustrated makes this collection of cookie cutters. Brass mimics the golden silhouettes of birds with blue storage tin. This product makes a perfect gift and lightweight for travel. (The contents can also be altered depends on the final product. Cookie cutters can be replaced with bird-shaped treats such as cookies or chocolate wrapped in gold foil for the same effect.)

Neck Pillow

The Ruff neck pillow is a comfortable and lightweight improvement on traditional travel pillow. The layered design is washable and easy to dry without interior filling. When unpacked, the pillow can be stored straight and compressed to save space. The ruff also allows the user to adjust volume and shape independently. Ruff neck pillow is a great nod to paintings from the collection.

Bird Umbrella
inspired by "Zilverreiger in de regen by Ohara Koson" from the Rijksstudio

The beautiful paintings of feathers and wings inspired the bird-shaped umbrellas. Contrast between black beak and legs to the white pairs beautifully in the accessory. Layers of the folded umbrella resemble wings, while the handle act as foot and beak. The umbrella uses soft-touch plastic with a strong steel skeleton and white feather printed canopy.

inspired by "The Battle of the Downs by Willem van de Velde (I)" from the Rijksstudio

The inspiration came from skywriting and messages left for people in the sky. Ship and boat-shaped magnets could be placed accordingly to put up additional messages. Skywriting dry erase board would be a great display as well as a memento.

Ruff Coaster
inspired by "Portraits of Rogier Le Witer and his Wife by Jacob Jordaens (I)" from the Rijksstudio

The Coaster collection is inspired by the layered ruff in paintings of the Rijks collection. The layers allow easy storage and cleaning. Coasters would also be a good pair with existing products in the museum.
