Mais um ano mais um mostrART com novas exposições, desta vez com um novo tema, "redes Sociais" o bom o mau e o Vilão das redes sociais, das "Fake News" a "Fridays for the Planet" temos de tudo um pouco nas era digital, pode tomar um partido, ou ilustrar a sua rede social favorita, faço o que quiser dê a sua interpretação sobre o tema.
Another year a new exhibitions, this time with a new theme, "Social Media" the good the bad and the Ugly of social media, from "Fake News" to "Fridays for the Planet" we have a little of everything in this digital age, you can take a party, or illustrate your favorite social network, do whatever you want give your interpretation on the topic.
A história do MostrART está intimamente ligada à ArtMatriz – Associação Cultural e Artística, mentora deste projeto (e de tantos outros de relevo e elevado interesse cultural). A primeira edição procurou juntar na mesma mostra (que esteve patente em espaços selecionados de uma movimentada artéria comercial da cidade de Viana do Castelo) diferentes linguagens: a pintura, a fotografia e a poesia. A segunda edição, em 2014, trouxe-nos um evento que articulou fotografias históricas com texto (prosa). Desde 2015, contudo, o MostART tem estado direcionado para a vertente da ilustração e fotografia: em 2015 numa homenagem aos Cartoonistas (e ao Charlie Hebdo em particular) procurou alertar para os perigos que corre a liberdade de expressão e na edição seguinte, em 2016, numa mostra cujo tema de reflexão foi a Violência Doméstica, neste últimos 3 anos tivemos o Bulling, em 2018 a Igualdade de Género e no ano passado o tema foi o Futuro.
The history of MostrART is closely linked to ArtMatriz - Associação Cultural e Artística, mentor of this project (and so many others of great importance and cultural interest). The first edition bring together in the same exhibition (which was shown in selected spaces of a busy commercial artery in the city of Viana do Castelo) different languages: painting, photography and poetry. The second edition, in 2014, brought us an event that articulated historical photographs with text (prose). Since 2015, however, MostART has been focusing on illustration and photography: in 2015, in a tribute to Cartoonists (and Charlie Hebdo in particular), he sought to warn of the dangers of freedom of expression and in the following edition, in 2016, a show whose theme of reflection was Domestic Violence, in the last 3 years we had Bulling, in 2018 Gender Equality and last year the theme was the Future.
O MostART tornou-se um veículo para abordar temas difíceis, e quotidianos, usando a arte.
MostART became a vehicle to address difficult, everyday issues, using art.
Estas edições têm vindo a contar com a participação de artistas de todo o mundo, numa demonstração de verdadeiro apreço e qualidade humana da comunidade artística nacional e internacional, sempre sensível, opinativa e disponível para dar o seu melhor quando o objetivo é alertar e mudar mentalidades (tem sido possível, inclusivamente, contar com a presença de ilustradores participantes que, in loco, deliciam o público com a sua arte). A participação é aberta a todos, e podem ser enviadas até dia 31 de Maio, para a selecção final dos trabalhos.
Podem enviar as vossas participações em jpg, no tamanho A3 e com 300 dpis, enviando também uma fotografia ou avatar, umas linhas sobre a obra e o artista, e alguns link para o seu trabalho on-line, para a selecção final, para o e-mail: multitudo.net@gmail.com
These editions have been attended by artists from all over the world, in a demonstration of true appreciation and human quality from the national and international artistic community, always sensitive, opinionated and available to give their best when the goal is to alert and change mentalities (it has even been possible to count on the presence of participating illustrators who, on the spot, delight the public with their art).
Entries are open to all, and can be sent until May 31st, for the final selection, in “jpg” on a A3 format and with 300 dpi, also sending a photo or avatar, some lines about the work and the artist, and some links to his work online, to the email: multitudo.net @ gmail.com
