Animal assisted therapy or pet therapy is therapeutic intervention that incorporates animals into the counseling session and enhances the benefits of traditional therapy. Both children and adults who are dealing with stress, anxiety, pain, depression and behavioral issues can benefit from this therapeutic intervention.
Metro NBI needed a channel that would facilitate in building awareness of this fairly new form of therapy. One that would clearly communicate what this form of therapy involves, what are the benefits and who can benefit from it.
