This cover lettering for Baker Publishing was incredibly enjoyable to design. The main title and author name were in fixed positions and the client asked for them to be connected with flourishes that would also wrap around the spine and rear of the cover.

I was excited to draw some jubilant looking blackletter for the main title, which lends itself perfectly to lots of embellishment. The cover is printed with a metallic foil to emphasise the richness of the typography and highlight the halo.
