'Sunbathing Animal' is a 24-page illustrated narrative that is currently published on Tapas, an online webcomic platform. The webcomic was written and illustrated by me, with accompanying lyrics by New York punk band Parquet Courts (taken from the eponymous song). 

'Sunbathing Animal' tells the story of two unnamed characters who enter into a mutually abusive yet co-dependent relationship. Through this piece I aim to give voice to my own experiences with mental illness and my resulting issues with intimacy and dependence, while also exploring the more visceral side to vulnerability and power dynamics in a relationship.
