Brief 7 - Just About Managing: How might we enable households and families to be more economically secure?
EasyFinance is my response to the brief; it is an organisation, collaborating with popular banks in the UK to provide free classes for 25 and 30 year olds. This is an important age as this is when significant life events occur the most, which can often feel overwhelming; nevermind if you are just about managing. The free classes are aimed at three different individuals: married and unmarried couples and couples with children. The classes offered focus on issues such as budgeting, saving money, dealing with unexpected costs and understanding your rights at work to ensure you are being paid correctly. The talks would be given by experts from various financial fields, and those who attend will also receive a free monthly budget planner pack suited to their family type.
