My methodology brings UX to life as front-end prototypes. I am skilled at producing deliverables and enjoy creating designs, conducting user research, and making great digital experiences.

I designed the User Experience and Information Architecture for the new website for workersrights.org. The site is a multilingual, WordPress 5 cloud implementation. I also developed the theme and migrated over 2,000 content items from the legacy site. 

The site architecture and UX came to life in design sprints with the client team. We quickly moved from paper to code and built a clickable prototype.

The UX design supports filters and a robust tagging and taxonomy system.

I designed the user experience for the #PEACENYC web app for the New York City Mayor's Office to Precent Gun Violence. Together with my dev partner, we built the Ruby on Rails app with a Bootstrap front-end in a 6-week sprint.

I designed the information architecture and user experience for the new BEA.GOV website. In 2015, I started designing wireframes on paper and UXPin, built a clickable Bootstrap prototype in 2016, and optimized the UX while pre-launch in the cloud in 2018. Recently, the website was recently ranked as one of the most improved websites of the federal government using data from ForeSee. 

I designed and built an app to audit content on public websites of the federal government. The project came together in whiteboard sketches, and then I built a working PHP app with a MySQL database to power dashboards and detail views. The tables and charts are powered by JavaScript tools for advanced functionality. Wrote Bash, Perl, and Python scripts to crawl .gov websites and extract metadata.

I make deliverables with the Adobe Creative Suite and other applications that help me communicate ideas to stakeholders. My UX philosophy prioritizes working software over documentation, so I create UX artifacts as a means to quickly bring my ideas to life.
