Lean Process Improvement: Define – Measure – Analyse – Improve – Control
These illustrations were created for use by an in-house consulting business unit that specialises in lean process optimisation. Lean process specialists use the acronym DMAIC to describe the five steps of a process improvement project, i.e.: Define – Measure – Analyse – Improve – Control.
Concepts and images brainstormed by myself and the client stakeholder for each of the 5 steps in DMAIC
Plain version designed for each step to be easily copied and pasted anywhere
Full colour version designed for use when all five steps are displayed on a page
The final images replaced an old set of icons that were previously used by the lean process specialist to describe DMAIC. The new imagery has been described as "marvellous".
