MUSEUM MMK FÜR MODERNE KUNST
The MUSEUM MMK für Moderne Kunst opened in 1991 under the direction of Jean-Christophe Ammann in the postmodern museum building designed by Hans Hollein. More than 5,000 works of art dating from the 1960s to the present make up the collection of the Museum MMK für Moderne Kunst. With key workgroups by international and national artists in its holdings, the museum is one of the most important institutions of contemporary art.
