For ten days every year, a curated group of artists from around the globe travel to Washington, DC to paint larger-than-life murals at our annual celebration of art and creativity, the international mural festival called POW! WOW! DC.

I was commissioned by the festival director Kelly Towles to design marketing material for the festival. I created an animated version of the official Pow! Pow! DC logo which was inspired by the drops and bubbles often associated with spray painting. In Adobe Illustrator I developed the concept of an animated dripping camouflage and used this as a canvas in the creation of t-shirts, bags, badges flyers and other marketing material. I also redesigned the festival website which provided information about the festival and where people could find the murals across the city.
