In this series of images I was attempting to create a group of shots that could be used for a product campaign. I chose an Organic tea company to represent. I was trying to convey the way the product revolves around very natural whole herb and plant ingredients. I wanted to add some sense of art and levity to use the separate tea elements in a kind of mandala art piece. I felt that provided a sense of zen and a harmony to see the elements of the tea separately as beautiful parts of nature. I used various lighting techniques in the images which was the most challenging part, other than the hour it took me to separate out all of the tea particles into piles, and then probably another hour to build the mandala art. I included a behind the scenes photo of that process.
