Houston to Welcome Two SPE Distinguished Lecturers in Spring of 2020
Ivor R. Ellul brings decades of executive experience to his current position as managing director of CiSK Ventures, Ltd., in Houston, Texas. An active supporter of industry-specific organizations, Ivor Ellul formerly served as a board member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

Since its founding in 1957, SPE has become a leading organization for individuals in the oil and gas industries. The organization seeks to provide its members with professional development opportunities both in-person and online. One of its live events, the Distinguished Lecturer series brings experts to speak on current global topics through the efforts of local SPE branches, such as the Gulf Coast Section in Houston.

Upcoming lectures for the Gulf Coast Section include a talk titled, "Thriving in a Lower for Longer Environment by Mary Van Domelen of Van Domelen International," which is set to take place on January 13, 2020. Then, on April 6, 2020, B. Todd Hoffman will visit from Montana Tech to give a talk titled, "Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) for Unconventional Reservoirs: The Next Big Thing?"
