Seven Hand Blackjack for mobile.
As the name suggest, the player can play simultaneously more than one hand in a single game and use different strategies for any of the hands.
The possibility to play several hands at the same time makes this Blackjack variation extremely fast paced and exciting for those who want to think fast and have more than one chance to win in a single game session.
The challenge was to design a 7 hand Blackjack mobile game to be played with only one thumb, reducing everything to the use of a single digit.
The best way to deal with small screens is to eliminate as much friction as possible. I had to restructure information, pay attention to the thumb zones and get rid of anything that wasn’t absolutely necessary. I also kept features and interactions highly focused based on core objectives, and refined the design making those features both intuitive and pleasurable to achieve fast discoverability and understanding.
