Unicode support for Malayalam script was few and title font was non-existent. In 2007, I participated Google Summer of Code and I designed first decorative Malayalam Unicode font Dyuthi, under the mentorship of Hussain K H.
The font supports Malayalam and Basic Latin and is published and maintained by SMC under SIL Open Font License.
