Locatedon the overstreet mall at the Hearst Tower in Uptown Charlotte,the Marketing Center comprises nearly 6,000 squarefeet of dramatic office space for the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats marketing staff.  Even before entering the sights and sounds ofthe center, one gets a rush of adrenalin viewing the temporary home of Charlotte’s new NBAfranchise through the lobby glass. The design is intended to energize visitorsto will be what coming to Uptown Charlotte in 2005.  Upon entry the visitor is greeted with the soundsand action of the NBA experience.  Avirtual scoreboard, hardwood floor and regulation size basketball goal provideguests the opportunity to shoot some hoops before taking in the arenaexperience.  Your journey begins througha series of ramps which provide the Bobcats with story telling and marketingopportunities before reaching the Uptown Suite. The next stop of your journey brings you to a replica of the arena’sUptown Suite, Royal Box and Terrace Table seating venues. Upon leaving thespace, there is an arena model viewing area and closing room that provides asecure and intimate area to discuss joining the “team”.  After being drafted to the “team”, you areescorted through a Locker Room setting and inspirational hall back onto the lobbycourt of the Charlotte Bobcats.  The6,000 sf includes five private offices and open office space for twenty fivestaff members.
