Lately, drawing and painting has become quite a boring and unproductive process, not because I don't like it but mostly due to me not being able to produce something new(I guess it's called artblock?). So I decided to try a new media; animation. And it felt like there's no better way to start than animating my drawings, so here it goes:
Symbiosis between a haunted crow head and a mutated snail.
Below is the drawing that inspired the animation. That's not a complete drawing, as you can see. But it was quite fun, because I designed for animation which meant I had to simplify my regular style. I simplified it even further while drawing it in vector form, which was another layer of experience.
Firstly, I scanned the drawing. Then I created a vector image, imported to after effects, animated and then to photoshop for extra detailing.
