HärjedalsKök sales campaign in Dalarna
Hoodies, T-shirt and magazine for HärjedalsKök and their annual big campaign.
The year I made this design HärjedalsKök held their campaign in the Swedish county of Dalarna. The weapon Crest for Dalarna uses mainly blue and yellow. Fortunately one of Härjedalsköks main colours is blue, so I made a decision to use two shades of blue, one yellow colour and white as the colour theme. In Dalarna they use a traditional decorative style of painting floral patterns on walls and furniture. It's called Kurbits. I designed my own pattern and used it to line the Hoodie. I also used the famous Dalahäst as a graphic element, Just for fun.
This is the final sketch of the hoodie. The text translated: The front, "We love Kitchens!" Left arm: "Ask me!" The back: "Expert on Kitchens!"
I decided the T-shirts to be in a bright yellow so it would contrast with the hoodi and match with the hoodies lining.
I designed a special edition of Härjedalsköks own magazine "NEWS". On the cover you could see a typical Dalahäst.
