In October 2019, the Make A Mark event came to Philadelphia in search of creative people of all types to assist local non-profits with their creative needs. Rock to the Future is a non-profit that provides music programs to Philadelphia youth.
Rock to the Future was in need of a short video consisting of pre-recorded video and images with the inclusion of motion graphics segments. I was primarily in charge of creating the logo animation for Rock to the Future (using their existing logo) and developing the animated text segments throughout the video.
Logo animation
Rock to the Future already had a high-quality logo for us to work with. We wanted to create this animation not only to use at the beginning of our final video, but also for Rock to the Future to continue to use in future videos and other promotional material. Therefore, two versions were made: one 16:9 format and one square video suitable for social media platforms.
Animated Stats
Rock to the Future provided us with a set of statistics to help promote the organization's success. These stats came from a well-designed document, so the visuals from that document have been translated to the animation to maintain consistency.
Additionally, we provided square versions of some of the stats for use on social media platforms.
