VIETNAM INNOVATION SUMMIT 2019 - DRAFT CONCEPTS
These are the two different Key Visual concepts I came up with for Vietnam Innovation Summit project by TeamX Hanoi. The team later on decided to finalize with a Post-internet inspired concept.
Vietnam Innovation Summit (or VIS) project consists of series of events focusing on delivering innovative and multi-field ideas, in order to stimulate and make room for them to have a bigger impact on today's society. This is the 3rd year of VIS and this year, the main theme is:
"to connect and find unity between generations: X, Y and Z."
Each of the elements in these Key Visual concepts, therefore, plays a vital role in illustrating the theme and message.
The colors: Red, Purple and Blue respectively represent the three generations X, Y and Z, in which Purple is the transitional color between the two, according with Y being the generation sharing both X and Z's some features in common (especially in Vietnam).
The symbol: Mirrors are metaphorical for self-reflection and awareness of one's uniqueness and values. It is important that any individual acknowledge that they are unlike any other, not to feel disappointed or discouraged about their pace along the road of development. The colored mirrors also indicate that there are differences among the said generations, therefore each should not be compared and implied to another's specific rules or stereotypes.
