This was my proposed cover image for the norwegian edition of A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin. It was made back in 2011, just before the first season of the TV-series aired. John Snow was made to look somewhat like Kit Harrington, without it being a portrait. I didn´t want a glossy finish, so I went for pencils and muted colors.
