Sound and Ambience

Olafur Eliasson is an Icelandic-Danish artist known for sculpture and large installation art, using elements such as light, water and temperature to enhance the audience's experience. Eliasson (2007) point out meditation works are grand, quiet and light. Experiencing audiences will understand that such seemingly relaxed works are particularly complex at the technical level of artists' long-term research and exhibition. These works, which use mirror effect, basic natural principle, water and light as the main creative materials, show a good aesthetic described as "Mirror Flower Water Moon". Eliasson (2008) state that encourages viewers to rethink reality and their relationship with reality through the illusion, that ordinary materials are directly opposed to reality-which is also one of the basic principles of art.

This work is the relationship between sound and space. Visitors produce two sounds from both sides of the string instrument, scattered over the drawing table, six resonators and two laser mirrors. At the drawing station, the sound swings the two poles, engraving their rhythmic movements on a rotating piece of paper with a pen to form a spiral. At the same time, the sound propagates to six resonators, which ring back and forth according to their respective shapes. Finally, the rearview mirrors of the two loudspeakers vibrate vertically or horizontally with the sound. Lasers reflect from one, produce horizontal vibration, and then produce vertical vibration; their combined motion is projected to the wall as a green laser drawing to track the same vibration recorded on the table.
This is my final work, in this work I used four different colors of paint to draw which are  scarlet, orange, yellow, purple and phthalo blue. This is a description of my voice on the way home to the railway station. Red represents my journey on the escalators, and yellow represents the sound of rapid traffic. Purple represents the sound of pressing buttons on the railing. The blue is waiting for the sidewalk; the orange represents the sound that the sidewalk can pass-a particularly strong sound in the recording.
