Furniture design for the “design spektakel” at the Kunstakademie Stuttgart on 27.11.2008.

Based on the theme ("Alles Neu") and the graphic of the event, the seat, work and presentation furniture are modeled on the Chinese lecture game Tangram. Thus the arrangement of the individual furniture can be changed between the lectures and during the breaks, and new forms are always produced. Conscious and accidentally consigned constellations make the space appear ever new.

Between the lectures, the seating furniture is compiled into new figures and the visitor can always find a changed foyer. However, new figures are also created by chance when the visitors move the elements in such a way that seat groups or individual places form.

An interesting part of this furniture is also the experiment in which one can observe how and whether they get a life of their own.
