The Rebellious Tie-Fighter - Star Wars Fan Art
was a fun piece to create. This piece stems from the idea that we are all a little rebellious regardless which side we align with. This piece was a nod to the struggle and affirmation that diversity and inclusivity is part of what the creative rebellion is all about. So mixing my love for Star Wars, created this fun and cheeky piece.

The final product
This piece was were it finally started to click on blending and shading with the digital medium. Though the shadings and hand made gradients are a bit rough still. This experience doing this print gave me to confidence to keep at and do more with it. As with art projects after this my ability to blend colors and create fairly smooth transitions is evident. However, we all have to start somewhere, and this is where it started for me.
A galaxy stock photo was used as the background to give the piece some sense of location. Using some simple curve adjustments on the photo created a nice contrast for the art work to sit in front of. This photo background was not originally part of the piece.
