A champion powerboat racer, Russell “Rusty” Rahm is also a successful businessman with multiple business interests, including Wake Effects, a water sports retail establishment and boat dealership. Rusty Rahm races under his Wake Effects powerboat racing team. Both his retail/boat dealership and his racing team are based in the city of Osage Beach, Missouri, along Lake of the Ozarks.

From end to end, the lake has a length of 92 miles and a surface area of 55,000 acres. When completed, it was the largest man-made lake in the United States, and one of the largest in the world. It’s also known as The Magic Dragon due to its serpentine shape. Its more 1,150 miles of shoreline is longer than that of the state of California.
